Background

Since 2009, Beers Enterprises Inc., the operator of The Switch, has had agreements with local circuit providers, allowing The Switch to offer local fiber circuits.  As part of these agreements, The Switch has made multi-year, volume commitments with AT&T, Verizon Business Network Services and Cox, allowing The Switch to pass on the cost savings to its customers.

• The Switch currently offers video circuits across 32 states and The District of Columbia.
• 1250+ local circuits have been installed to date.
• As customer demand dictates we will continue to expand our circuit offerings.  Please check back regularly for additional locations or contact a representative of The Switch in your service area.

AT&T Circuits Offering
Through an agreement with AT&T, The Switch offers AT&T HDVT local circuits, which seamlessly support:

• Uncompressed High Definition 1.485 Gbps, SMPTE 292M-2008
• Uncompressed Standard Definition 270 Mbps, SMPTE 259M-2008
• Customer Compressed HD 19.39 ATSC, SMPTE 310M
• DVB/ASI

Across the service locations:
Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Nevada (excluding Las Vegas), Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin.

Verizon Circuits Offering
Through an agreement with Verizon Business Network Services, The Switch offers Uncompressed HD-SDI local circuits and Customer Compressed SD-SDI, which seamless support:
