Linda Hannan Joins The Switch as Western Regional Sales Director

LOS ANGELES, February 14, 2010.  The Switch has announced that Linda Hannan, formerly of Level 3 Communications, will join The Switch team as Western Regional Sales Director and will join The Switch's Los Angeles office.

"I have had the opportunity to work with The Switch as a customer for many years, and have always admired its reputation for quality of service and entrepreneurial vision," said Linda Hannan. "I'm excited to join this forward thinking group of Media professionals."

Hannan comes to The Switch from Level 3 Communications, where she served as Client Executive managing a strategic account team that focused on the largest broadcast and media clients, including Disney, ESPN, ABC, Pixar, Marvel and others. Prior to Level 3, Hannan founded several broadcasting ventures. Her company, ITN, a video production, transmission and streaming service, based in San Francisco, was one of the first to combine fiber transport and content delivery for broadcast and corporate customers.

A graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, Hannan has received several prestigious awards during her career, including AT&T's Women Entrepreneur of the Year, American Women in Radio & Television's New Media Innovator award, and the Young Entrepreneur Organization's National Award for Member Programs. She is a member of the Society of Satellite Professionals (SSPI), Sports Video Group (SVG), and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
