Transmission Service Providers: The Switch provides a gateway for numerous satellite and fiber optic transmission service providers, in addition to its unique customer controlled High Definition ICOD fiber network.
Studios and Post Production: Producers of entertainment content have come to depend on The Switch to quickly and easily deliver their feeds without the requirement of booking, or minimum transmission time.
News Bureaus: Numerous network and cable news bureaus have come to depend on The Switch for their daily transmission needs.
Government: The Switch provides connectivity to local city government and emergency services in some of the largest U.S. markets in addition to connecting many government services in the District of Columbia.

The Switch now offers the ability to transmit in 3G Uncompressed in addition to Uncompressed HD, JPEG 2000, and 270 Mbps SDI across fifty service locations.
Universities, Museums and Cultural Institutions: The Switch provides connectivity to institutions of higher learning that have bridged education and culture with broadcasting.
